Vaccine Requirements to Fly?

It's interesting Tony Fauci is trying to push the issue for vaccine requirements in order to fly domestically (within the US- state to state).
Is it because the vaccinated airline crews are getting sick from unvaccinated passengers wearing masks?
Don't the masks & vaccines work?
Or is it that every single person needs to have 4 shots & 3 masks for them both to work?
Surely decreasing the quarantine time to 5 days instead of 10 is scientifically backed & will help the situation drastically!
