This is All We've Wanted...

informedchoiceiowa

For those who feel stuck with a Covid vaccine mandate either at work or college-- please know you have rights that are being violated. While many lawsuits are happening, the justice system is too slow to prevent what's happening quickly enough & our state government is asleep at the wheel while the federal government is weaponizing our government-run healthcare! We are feeling it, but we will prevail!

If you need help, here is a list of compiled resources we have put out & stand behind:

Facebook Lives (Can watch even if you don't have Facebook)

Live 3-- if exemption denied https://fb.watch/7DtrzSy9DR/

Guidelines on what to do if exemption is denied: https://www.facebook.com/721190774735700/posts/1749319608589473/

General exemption guidance & resources to help craft your statements to your specific employer/college exemption needs: https://meganredshaw.substack.com/.../how-to-covid...

Quick rundown:

1) Only communicate via paper or email so you have documentation. Make copies if it's paper you're turning in. If your employer calls you, send a follow up email to them summarizing what was discussed back to them (i.e. “In summary, per our phone conversation, my employment requirements are... etc.”).

2) Simply ask for a religious exemption form. You don't need to explain yourself to anyone.

3) Know your rights when drafting your exemption.

4) Keep in mind all employer/school forms are not the same so you need to draft according to the questions asked, but give as little info as necessary! Short & sweet is best.

5) If your exemption is denied, you have grounds for a lawsuit. This is why it's important to keep all documentation through paper or email & send it to your personal email as well so it's not lost if you're fired & lose access to your work/school email.

6) Hold the line! This madness only ends when we STAND TOGETHER!!

This is all new territory & unfortunately nobody has the exact answers. This is all those who have been labeled as an “anti-vaxxer” have ever wanted- to say no without retaliation. They are coming for our kids next. Now is the time to take a stand for bodily autonomy. Be loud!

Get to protests! Call & message your legislators. Call the governor & register an opinion with her. Attend school board meetings. Run for city council. WE THE PEOPLE!!
